Future Courses

Q.
When will details regarding the next series of courses be announced?
A.
Course information is made available on the Morning University of Marunouchi home page once all course details are finalized. Information on new courses, program introduction sessions, registration dates and other details related to attending courses are also sent out via the official newsletter. Requests to sign up to receive the official newsletter should be sent to "info@asadaigaku.jp" and directed to the "Morning University of Marunouchi Planning Committee Office". Please include your name, email address, and clearly indicate that you wish to sign up to receive the "Morning University of Marunouchi Newsletter".

Registering for Courses

Q.
Do you accept course registration requests via email?
A.
Course registration is accepted only through use of the prescribed forms on the Morning University of Marunouchi website. For more detailed information about registering for courses, click here.

Course Fees

Q.
Can course fees be paid in installments?
A.
All course fees are collected in one lump sum payment at the time of registration.
Q.
Are there any additional costs aside from the regular course fee which is paid upon registration?
A.
Some courses include special field work sessions as part of the curriculum, additional meet-ups outside of regular class hours, and/or other optional activities, which may not be included as part of the standard course fee. Please be sure to carefully read the details about the course you intend to register for in order to confirm what costs are included as part of the standard course fee. If you are unsure or have additional questions, please contact the appropriate course representative.
Q.
If I know in I advance that I'll be unable to participate in a certain class session, can a request a refund for the cost associated with that individual session?
A.
We apologize that we are unable to refund course fees due to absence, which includes instances of prior notification.

Cancellation

Q.
Is it possible to cancel registration for a course once I've alreadly completed the registration process?
A.
If you would like to cancel your registration for a course, please email "info@asadaigaku.jp" and include, 1) your full name, and 2) the name of the course for which you would like to cancel your registration. In the case that applicable course fees have already been paid, please note the policy with regards to cancellation fees below.

- Cancellation at least 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the first day of the course: 2,000 yen
- Cancellation less than 2 weeks (13 days) prior, and more than 1 week (7 days) before the first day of the course: 30% of the total course fee
- Cancellation less than 1 week (6 days) prior to the first day of the course: course fees not refundable
  • I was late in paying the required course fees and as a result, have been dropped from the course. Is it still possible to enroll?
  • In this case, we ask that you go through the standard course registration process again by registering via the Morning University of Marunouchi website.
Q.
Is there a waiting list for full courses in the event of a cancellation?
A.
There is no waiting list for courses at the present time. In the event of a cancellation, the related course page will be updated to reflect that information. We suggest that you check the website regularly in order to see if there is an opening.

Proxy Attendance

Q.
If I am unable to attend a class session, can I have someone attend as a proxy in my place?
A.
Course curriculum is designed with regular, consistent participation from students in mind, so out of respect for instructors, content planners, and other officially registered students, we do not permit attendance by anyone other than those officially registered students.

Questions Regarding Specific Courses

Q.
Is it alright to leave class mid-session?
A.
Recognizing that many of our students have other professional obligations, in most cases taking one's leave mid-session is not a problem, however we kindly request that you inquire directly with the individual in charge of the course prior to registering. You can contact the appropriate representative here.
Q.
Is there anything specific that I should bring to class?
A.
Please check the relevant course page for details on what is required and/or recommended for each course. Should you have additional questions, please feel free to contact the corresponding course representative here.
Q.
I'm interested in a somewhat physically demanding class, however I'm not sure if I can participate due to a certain condition (i.e. previous injury, pregnancy, physical disability, etc.). What should I do?

Please inquire directly with the representative for the course that you wish to take part in prior to registering here.
Q.
I registered for a physically active course. Is there a place to change clothes before and/or after class?
A.
